Challenge

To develop a unique name and brand for eye wellness that seamlessly integrates into the architectural design of the concept-store and expresses the perfect symbioses between eye health and eye beauty.

Solution

When Gaertner Optics, the parent company with decades of expertise in eye care, decided to innovate and pioneer a concept that brings together eye health with eye beauty, we understood that the brand needed to work hard to attract a new segment without alienating its existing and loyal clientele. To evoke the perfect symbioses of medical eyecare and beauty we designed a brand mark that expresses two worlds coming together, a concept further amplified through a brand language where natural abundance meets minimalism, perfectly in tune with the architectural style of the concept store. The name SEESOPHIE was created to celebrate the valued personal approach of Sophie (the owner) where ‘see’ refers to nature of the business and provokes a clear ‘call to action’.
